Tales from the Dorm Side was created in 1993
while I was in college. It ran four and a half years in the
college newspaper and was very popular on the web. In 2000, I put together this submission package and sent it
to the national syndicates for consideration. It wasn't picked
up because editors thought it wouldn't have wide enough appeal
in daily newspapers. However, I did receive some very positive
feedback on the strip from some syndicate editors in the place
of the normal form rejection letters.
