Following the success of the 2007 illustrated Bearkat Family Weekend logo, Sam Houston State asked me to create another featuring the Bearkat family for 2008. This time, they wanted the family in a more casual setting. And what's more casual than a Bearkat football game.

The 2008 illustration looks like a postcard inviting everyone to Bearkat Family Weekend.

For some reason, I imagine Sammy's dad sounding like James Earl Jones and Sammy's mom sounding a little like Edith Bunker - but that's just me...
