This is one in a series of posters that I have produced with the theme of " A Day in the..." These started back in high school as collaborations with other artists to be published in the newspaper or yearbook. Since then, I've continued the idea on my own, usually as a practice piece when I'm gearing up for a large project. It's a great brainstorming tool and lets me practice my pencil and inking skills. In this case, I produced "A Day in the Old West" just prior to beginning work on my latest comic strip, "Jimbo & Johnny"
