Texan Pontiac GMC Buick wanted to pitch a new dealership to General Motors in the Katy area, so they called on me to create their presentation book for them.

They said they wanted something that would really stand out and that would really blow them away. Most open point proposals are either just stapled bundles of paper or spiral bound books like a high school science fair presentation. So I created a book.

Texan's open point proposal was hard cover with a dust jacket and had full-color graphics on every page. In the back I created a CD full of spreadsheets, business plans and other documents supplied to me by the dealership.

To say that the cleint was very happy with the result is a huge understatement. While they were out-bid for the Katy location, they told me that this proposal book was a huge part of what gave them a shot in the first place.
